Golang Job: Software engineer (S-0101)

We are currently looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer for our partner.

Our partner, is a hotel reservation website specializing in long stay reservations. Currently, present in 22 countries with more than 700,000 different establishments.

Role responsibilities:

• Build backend services for a web-based product in an Agile environment.
• Develop and scale distributed systems.
• Design, implement and test your solutions.
• Integrations with 3rd party APIs.

We need:

• Relevant experience in similar roles building technically complex products in Go, Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, or C++.
• Comfortable with asynchronous programming techniques: streams, task queues, message queues.

Tech stack:

• services are written with Golang, PHP7, Python, and JavaScript.
• They leverage Redis, Elasticsearch, and MySQL.
• Communication flows through JSON APIs, gRPC, Protobuf, and Kafka.
• We monitor our systems with Datadog, Graylog, and Sentry.
• Operations are performed on top of Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Slack, and Git.
• Everything runs on AWS.

We value:

• Strong Go language knowledge.
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Experience with cloud computing in general and AWS in particular.
• Experience working as part of a remote team

• Remote within Spain, full-time, and flexible schedule. You should be able to commit to 40h per week.
